Dancing In The Dark

Lights are off, doors are closed and there are no students to be found! I am truly lost without the clatter of after school dancers entering the studio for class. The scramble to find tights, leotards, hair ties and the forgotten dance bag are not even a discussion factor at this time. We just left for Spring Break with the eager excitement of returning to discover costumes arriving, choreography to be finalized and to make those final preparations for our end of the year recital. This shows us how quickly life can change!

When our day was hectic, the test was not good or we just have a bad day we could “Dance It Out” up until the time of COVID-19. The entire Dance Community is suffering this loss we are going through at this time. Let’s all use this time to focus on the great things we admire about performing live daily. Our dance friends keep us focused, involved, energized, and constantly motivated to learn and move forward. We all miss our “dance” time, so message, text, call or reach out so you can encourage a “dance friend”.

We will survive “Dancing in the Dark” and come out with the brightest shining lights ever.

Love and Ballerina Hugs!

Miss Tammie
